At one time, I had a subscription to one of the Stamps of Life clubs. At one point I had a subscription to the die hard club, which was a monthly subscription that included a brand new stamp and die set each month. At the same time, I believe that I also had a subscription... Continue Reading →
Stamps of Life: Welcome card
I created this Welcome card using products from the Stamps of Life. I used the pineapple2stamp clear stamp set, along with the pineapple2stamp die set. I used alcohol markers for coloring the pineapple. I then used Spellbinders nesting dies, and patterned papers for the background.
Candle Celebration Card
This was a very basic card that I made using older stamps that I had. I wanted to make something quick that didn’t not require coloring with markers or pencils. I stamped the candles and then used a tag layering die and cut out the stamped piece, as well as a larger layering piece in... Continue Reading →
Stitched & layered card
Some people might look at this card and think it is too busy, but I absolutely love it. I love the color palette of blue and green, with a touch of brown. I love the stitching around the edges Of the different layers, and the use of ribbon as an element. I especially love the... Continue Reading →
Craft Room: Window Treatment
It definitely does not account for any privacy, but I think it is a super cute idea! Using paint buckets, along with colored tulle fabric, this window treatment gives the effect of paint being poured out of the buckets. This makes a whimsical window treatment for any craft room! (Photo source unknown.)
Snowman (Shaker) Card
I love unique cards, and I also love shaker cards. What prompted me to save the photo of this card was the circle cutouts that contained stamped images. The bonus was that the largest cutout was a shaker accent. I think the coloring on this card is also fabulous, as it is just enough as... Continue Reading →
Craft Room: Shelves
Shelving in the craft room is an absolute must, if possible. Especially if you have a large (and varied!) craft supply collection. The shelving in this photo is simple, and adorned with different sized containers for organization. I especially love what the creator did with the drawer organizer; where the drawers are different colors. Baskets,... Continue Reading →
Craft Room: IKEA Inspiration
I have used IKEA pieces in my home for years. One of my favorite pieces to use in my craft room is the Kallax shelving unit, that replaced the Expedit. These storage cubes are wonderful because you can purchase and add doors, drawers, and shelves, to add to the individual cubes to maximize your storage... Continue Reading →
Painted paint brushes
I cannot remember where I found this pic, or who created these gorgeous brushes. I saved the image because I thought that these were absolutely beautiful. I also love the fact that old paint brushes have been repurposed as art, instead of going into the garbage. Such a creative idea, that produced stunning results!
Teapot Ladies
I do not remember where I found this image, as I just saved it to my phone and forgot to notate where I found it and who made them. I think they are so charming! the use of the tea pots (or kettles) for their body and arms, and then the use of glass lamp... Continue Reading →
