WDW Mickey Balloon Spirit Jersey

Even as a Walt Disney World annual passholder for a few years, this was my very first Spirit Jersey purchase. Living in Florida, I MAY have 3 tops in my closet that are long sleeved, and MAY wear them once a year. As super cool as all of the spirit jerseys are, they are just too much for me from a temperature standpoint. But this one. This one I had to have, as I am slightly obsessed with the Mickey ears balloon. I had the opportunity to wear it (comfortably!) in Rockford, Illinois in March. I styled it with some darling earrings from Bourbon and Boweties, as well as beaded bracelets that were a combination of Bourbon and Boweties and Allie + Bess. And….you guessed it….the look was the most magical on earth. 😉 IYKYK

Set-up Day Fit: Rockford, IL

Show set up day calls for casual…and in Rockford, Illinois, in March, it calls for jeans! Brrrrr! I styled my Yosemite tee with my jeans, jean jacket, boots, and a colorful mix of bracelets from Bourbon and Boweties and Allie + Bess. You can see more about the bracelet stack here.

Teal, orange & gray

Teal is one of my favorite colors, and I especially love the orange with it, in this bracelet stack. The end beaded bracelets are Kendleys from Bourbon and Boweties, and the middle gray vinyl and teal Zo bracelets are from Allie + Bess.

My 1st WDW popcorn bucket

Although I have purchased a few popcorn buckets at Walt Disney World since this one, this one was my first. You always remember your first, right? ;p I purchased this Mickey popcorn bucket at Animal Kingdom during the 50th anniversary celebration. I purchased him early on in the day, and did not want to carry him around all day and risk something happening. (Remember, I am a collector….so we like things unused ;p). So, I paid a few dollars and tucked him away in one of the storage lockers near the front of the park. He was patiently (and safely!) waiting for me when I picked him up prior to exiting.

Disney Things

This was a haul from a few years back, from Disney Springs, I believe. The Christmas Loungefly was a steal, as it was on sale and my AP (annual passholder) discount also applied. The 50th anniversary magnet is proudly displayed on my refrigerator. I use the red mouse balloon spoon rest in my office for paper clips and rubber bands. The castle tee-shirt is one of my absolute favorites. Three Disney Pandora charms, and then some wax melts from Bowes.
Side note about Bowes Signature Candles, if you have never heard of or tried them. Bowes Signature Candles garner their from customers sharing stories about particular smells they remember from their lives.

Bali brights

Bali bracelets are not only versatile, but they are waterproof. These bracelets can be worn when you are dressed up, or dressed down. The beads are interchangeable, as they pop on and off like vintage “pap beads”. These bracelets can roll on and off of your hand, or they can be opened and closed at the bead. They can in a HUGE range of colors, and many different bead styles are offered. I love wearing these bracelets when I want to accessorize, but I know I am going to be active or in water.

Lovely lilac

This bracelet assortment features three different brands. The pearlesque beadeds are from Bourbon and Boweties; the pave beaded is from Rustic Cuff; and the lilac tinted clear beaded is from Allie + Bess. This combo perfectly matched my floral dress from SHEIN.

Just Born in Bethlehem, PA

Just Born, located in Bethlehem, PA, manufactures and distributes various confectionary wonders, such as Hot Tamales, Mike and Ike, but most importantly, Peeps! While in Allentown, PA, for a show, I decided to take a trip by their factory. While the factory does not offer tours, it was still fun to see the outside of the building and the Peeps mobile. Founded in 1923, the company relocated to Bethlehem, PA, in 1932. In 1953, Just Born acquired the Rodda Candy Company, which was a manufacturer of jelly beans and the seasonal Easter candy known as Peeps. Thus, Peeps were then Just Born. 🙂
