Got the blues (&greens!)

This small bangle stack of blue and green perfectly matched my tropical patterned dress. The pieces on the outer bangles are similar to small ceramic tiles, with a shiny finish. The middle bangle is known as a Millie from Bourbon and Boweties. The Millie bangles have three groups of five beads. They come in a variety of colors and bead shapes, however, the beads are always similar in size, even if they have slightly differing shapes.

Fall colors

Check out this bracelet stack featuring Kendleys and stacker stretchies in gorgeous fall colors from Bourbon and Boweties. Kendley bracelets from B&B are always a beaded stretch bracelet, featuring beads in varying shapes and colors. Stacker stretch beaded bracelets contain smaller beads than the Kendleys, and are meant to “stack” to enhance the combination.

Fowler’s Chocolates: Buffalo, NY

I travel to Hamburg, NY, in the Buffalo area, once a year for a trade show. One of my pals introduced me to Buffalo Sponge Candy one year, and it is one of the things I look forward to when making the trip to NY. In the past, I have always purchased the candy at the Buffalo airport on my flight headed home, but this year I had time to stop by the actual store.
They have 5 locations in the Buffalo area, and one was located less than 5 miles from where I was, so how could I not? There was so much yumminess to see!! I stuck with the sponge candy, and also purchased some sea salt caramels. Their chocolate is some of the best I’ve ever had, and I absolutely love their sponge candy.
They do ship the candy year round. However, in the warmer months they ship only next day or second day air; and also ask that the customer adds the cold pack guarantee to their order, to help with melting issues. Check them out at: https://fowlerschocolates.com

Hello Fall Lantern Card

Love the lantern die used in this card, with the scene in the middle of the lantern. I had this saved in the Photos on my phone, and as you can see in the footer of the photo, it states that it was for Sugar Pea Designs. I did happen upon Sugar Pea Designs a couple of times at rubber stamp/scrapbook shows in Florida. However, after a current search online, it appears that they are no longer in business.

Disney Pop Up Box Card

This cute (foldable) card was made using the Bicz XL Card In A Box A2 die, designed by Lori Whitlock for Sizzix. This is an older Sizzix die, and enabled the crafter to create the box, clouds, and pinwheels. When opened, the pieces “pop” put for a surprise to the receiver. For this make, I used Disney papers, and Mickey Mouse ears decorative scissors. This is a super fun card to make and to give.

Displays at World of Disney

As a Disney fan, I of course love to visit the World of Disney store, located in Disney Springs, at Walt Disney World. While seeing all of the Disney merch is a thrill, checking out the displays is equally exciting. This set of photos shows displays geared toward the “Play in the Park” Campaign. Each display was dedicated to one of the four WDW parks.
- Play in the Park
- Magic Kingdom
- Hollywood Studios
- Epcot
(If they had one for Animal Kingdom, I missed it.)

Summer Fun Dress

This cute, bright dress is from SHEIN. With embroidered flowers on the bodice, and a pom pom trim on cap sleeves and hem, this dress was perfect for a summer day! It traveled well, and I’d not need any ironing. For accessories, I paired it with my bright bangle stack and my bejeweled “LOVE” necklace from Copper Crown Studio.

Brights

I love this bright bangle stack that I put together from Bourbon and Boweties. With the exception of the blue piece, the rest are all natural stones. What I love when it comes to natural stones on B&B bangles, they each have a unique look. One of my favorite things about natural stones is when the wire is either visible through the stone, or actually exposed. I scored a two for one on the pink bangle, as you can see the wire through the center of the stone, and it is physically exposed, as well. The blue piece is a beautiful acrylic with white highlights.

Under the Sea Paper Doll Tag

This “mermazing” paper doll tag was created using outline stickers from Krazy Kreations. Krazy Kreations offers a monthly paper doll club subscription, which comes with everything you need to create these fun and chic tags. The directions are detailed, and include a picture of the final tag. These are super fun and easy, and make a great gift, or, keep as part of a cool collection for yourself.
